And I prettied up one of the ugly areas of my engine compartment. The metal parts look great, the plastic part....eh. But it looks better than the dirty, ugly, gray plastic color that it was. Getting paint to stick to plastic is a *****. I cleaned it up REAL good & painted it & it bubbled like a bastard (w/plastic paint). So I sanded it all down & used some regular black gloss paint & it looks much better. (see pic 3) Not perfect, but it will have to do.
I'll post the final pic when the last coat of paint dries & I put it back on.
PS I also need a place to powder coat my door bars (3' long) if you know a place local that could get them done in 3 weeks.

And Ellis & I got the tranny out & found the leak. The front seal got nicked during install. Better that than the converter leaking!!! Then I spent 2+ hrs cleaning the under belly. Synthetic oil gets everywhere! With luck we'll get the tranny back in in-time for me to clean the exhaust & wheel wells next weekend. Then all I have left to do is polish & wax.

I relocated them. One is under the fuse box & the other one is on the frame rail where the AC compressor used to be. If not for the blower they would both be down there. I bought the kit from Jay Fisher Pontiac that comes with the brackets & longer wires. It's designed to hang them on the cowl but my valve covers are too high.
