I would love to show up and see more US cars than German or Jap.

Did you submit the online registration form? If you did that, then followed up with the phone message then you should see an e-mail from them within a week. (they only go into the office a couple times a week)

Good luck fitting in the Lotus! If you're a big boy and never sat in one, then I'd suggest you try one on before forking out the big $.

I will be there for the afternoon lapping session. Emailed Donna this morning and got a reply within the hour so I will be one of the 12. Mark, I would love to take you for a couple of laps if you want.

Hey Mark! If we are settled in up in Sequim and I have enough time to get the camaro' up and running I'm in. It is cutting it close so I'll see how things progress - may have to hope for a July date but April would be better.

I don't care if its a slow LT1, its the skill it takes to push anything to the limit

I'd love to go for a ride in your Z Eric! Nothing better than riding in a car that handles with a driver that has experience to see what I SHOULD be doing.....

And I plan to change my spring/shock combo by the 10th, and with any luck have new tires too. Afer much debate, I'm probably just going to go with the new GY Eagles. They have the speed and more importantly the load rating I'll need. And with the suspension change I should be able to run 315s on the rear to get a little more accel out of the turns (provided I can learn how to drive).

Just talked to Don tonight. He said I can't run the T/A .

So I have to come up with an extra $300 to run the course car. I think I can still swing it though. I just won't be able to get the next round of mods for the Trans Am as fast as I was hoping. But I will have the !DriverMod out of the way.

This should turn out to be a lot of fun. If Howard gets registered that's 4 first timers(Russ, Mark, Howard and "vtec this"), plus 2 advanced lappers(Erik and Myself).

If the weather is good that'll be a GREAT week. I'm shooting for 4 car events.
4/6 = Friday Night Drags @ Bremerton
4/7 = Saturday Drags @ both Bremerton and Pacific(take your choice)
4/8 = Change from Drag tires to Road tires
4/9 = LS1GTO Go-Carting day(visit ls1gto.com to join in if you like)
4/10 = Lapping @ Pacific
4/11 = Sleep in and give the car a good wash!
4/12 = Happy Birthday to Me!!!

BTW, there's a good chance my wife will come along to take some video.

It will be a blast!

Tell me about Visa bleeding...I just bought a whole new bedroom set.

I talked to Don this morning and got my confirmation and gave him my payment info, so I am in for sure!

Mark, how are you planning to mount your camera? I would love to be able to take some in car video as well.

Sweet! It looks like a friend of mine may be registering for that date as well. He's still mulling over his budget, but it's lookin' good.

Hey all,

Just got the note about April 10th. I'll look into meeting you guys there for the afternoon lapping. Gotta figure out how to close the office for the day!

Too bad you have to close the office to get the day off Tom. You've got a nice car. I hope to see you there!

Yeah, it'll hurt. Last year I didn't work Mondays at all and could swing taking Tuesdays off b/c my associate could cover for me. Now that he'll be gone I really can't take Monday or Tuesday off unless I close the office. All of the Proformance track days are Mon and Tues! The only days I think I can go to are with clubs like the Alfa Romeo club. They have some wknd days available. Ugh.
