I wonder what the full carfax would pull up on that report - could have been a wreck and owner got insurance and shop to retrofit to a look alike

Very cheap on insurance however you'll get better mileage w/ a ls based motor. And a better interior, not being fake, better handling, etc....

Probably a clean carfax but I'll bet the car was wrecked or just beat to hell and a buddy at a body shop gave a guy the hook-up. The shame is that he didn't at least give it better power. Imagine rolling up on a real C5 and getting your *** handed to you... THAT would suck far worse than the look.

He said he had over 30K in it! I recently bought my 04 C5 with 18K miles and paid less than 30K. Why do all the work?
