Yeah weather forecast really cleared up since yesterday, looks like it'll be freaking awesome! I'll be heading up as soon as I get out of class at 4:00. I'll be in this:

Well the track was packed, I got there before it opened and still only got 3 runs. I was pretty upset with my own performance too, couldn't get under 2.2 60 foots on my runs and best I did was 15.047 @ 92.17mph . At least I picked up 2mph from last time with just the intercooler. Always next time..

I saw you running a couple times I think once with another Volvo. I only got 3 runs in too. Yeah, it was pretty packed and the ricers puking on the track didnt help much. I didnt do too well running a 14.5x, off from my best but my MPH was up there at 96. I need some DR

Hey jerry i was there checking out your car in the pits with my buddy. We loved the way your intake was setup. Keep it real!

And I didnt really see Poik run because I only was there for 1 run of each class.

My first run was against some stockish 80's hatchback Civic with no hood, and I recorded my runs with my in car camera but I have to ******* mute that run because even after I pulled decently far ahead of the Civic all you could hear was his raspy *** no power engine.

Here's a vid of my second race. The one where I did my burnout and then they didn't let us go for like 10 minutes while they cleaned up the far end of the track. Waste of my new tires lol

Cool video! There was alot of waiting around that night! On my 3rd run I forgot to shift into 3rd after the burnout so 3/4 of the way down the track I'm thinking OK any time now 3rd gear and I look down to see it in 2nd Got back at the Z28 that beat me on my earlier run though!

Blackops22 : Thanks for the props on the intake. Its a setup for a 97-00 Corvette.

That sucks, seems like that happens to the best of us though, not the first time I've heard that on this board . Other than the launch being so touchy, I really like drag racing a 4 speed manual, almost impossible to miss a shift, just pick a corner
