Default Vette stage 1 is ordered

So I finally got around to odering all the parts I feel I need to go racing. What I got

Summit Line lock with brake lines and adapters
ET steets 26x10.5x16
LS7 Clutch
Master cylinder
Throwout bearing/slave
pilot bearing
DTE Differential strut
DTE Hardened left output shaft.

I also have my eye on a factory service manual on Ebay...but haven't gotten it yet.

I figure that with my power, that I will be able to run the car hard at the track with little worry of damaging the car.

That's the long one that usually breaks.

I would not do the LS7 clutch again. Swap it if you can. It does not take the abuse that the LS6 clutch can. I am already having issues with mine after three lapping days. If you know who Ranger is go look at his posts about the LS6 vs LS7 clutches. I also follow his recommended procedure for maintenance and it does not help.

I got quite a few recommendations for the LS7 clutch. So hopefully it will work out for me. Unfortunately, it was going to ship today....so I don't think there is any turning back.

One resolution to a problem with the clutch is to do a drill mod on the hydraulic line.

Oh....I also got a remote bleeder setup too.

Looks like a good package, are you doing the work? Good luck with the clutch. I went with a Textralia type and it's TIGHT! Your mod list just begs for a CCW drag pack!

Wow I didn't know you're ready to pull the trigger. If you call TTi they can get the clutch parts minus flywheel. They used my stock flywheel and had it resurfaced & balanced, and could have saved that $600.

I would much rather tell you my experience and reference Rangers and let you make the decision than to say nothing. Sounds like your going to have a really good setup now.
