Which pumps exactly? Cause I just ordered a MP-4303 2000hp capable pump...or so I thought...

I believe I had (2) MP-4701s (2000hp EACH) and they didn't keep up with 16V juice to em....

Magnaflow can jam their "horsepower" ratings up their ***. Fact is at High PSI (Uhh, like an EFI motor uses) they just weren't keeping up. We went to the belt driven pump that Job Spetter specified and all was solved. I don't actually think thats the best route for *you* necessarily as we were working on a racecar, not a streetcar. It came with some issues (had to prime it once a weekend etc), but I gotta say though for the money it was EXCELLENT (it was actually pretty damn cheap).

I'm sure most of the Mustang guys that George has helped build and hang around the shop use Weldon pumps, that would possibly be the way to go. I believe most all the FAST Turbo Mustangs I've seen are using the Weldon stuff. They usually use a step down for idle and low rpm to help not burn up the pump....

Carb motors are sooo much easier to fuel. Over 1500hp with one $500 pump, with room to put nitrous on if ya wanted to.....

What fuel pressure were you guys running with them? I am only planning on running it at 45 psi base, with upto 65psi boost referenced... I guess we'll see!

Well its ordered now I guess we'll see how it works out. My hope is that it'll handle 900-1000.

Oh and no toque numbers due to a bad tach pickup... More to follow

You know Ryan's car would have made 800 plus rwhp on the dyno too with the fuel system he had....but would have burned the motor to the grond by 1000'. I've seen many post like this on saying how much horsepower someone has made with a cheap fuel system. Just can figure out what a guy would spend thousands of dollars building his dream race/street car then put a 65.00 fuel pump in it
