Finally sold my Tahoe
Well after months and months of trying its finally gone. I'm really surprised how difficult it was to sell. it was a 97 4dr 4x4 LT with 120k mile and new tires. I ended up taking $5300. I mean I know gas prices are high, but jees. Oh well its gone. The Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought back in Nov. fits in the garage a lot better than the Tahoe, which is nice.
Now that I have that sold, it looks like I'll be picking up a 68 shortbed pickup tonight to start on a frame off restoration. Haven't decided how I'm going to go about doing this, since I have a 72 GMC. The original plan was to just swap the cab and front end over to the shortbed frame and use that box, but I guess we'll see what this 68 cab and fenders look like.
As seen in my other post....I'm looking for a 6.0L engine for this project. But then I got to thinking maybe just do a mild build on the TPI 350 and spray a 100shot and call it good....I haven't decided yet.

Dump the TPI and just do a small shot on the LQ4 6.0. Parts are plentiful and cheap. The TPI's are dying off and are hardly a good setup. Too much money to mod down the road, too, if you go that way. LSx's will be good and cheap for many more years
