That could make a nice, cheap-ish bracket car, eh?

Throw on a WS6 hood and Z06 Rims -- oh baby.

That is a great color.

What's so bad about the 98 compared to the 99+ other than the computer?

There are a lot of differences, but Ellis named them off so fast I can't remember them all.. From paper gaskets that have to be scraped off (PITA) to different connectors that don't match other years...etc...etc... It's not necessarily such a bad thing, just different...

My bro moved here from AK and is having to borrow mollys car and forcing me to have to drive my car to work everyday which sucks when its raining with the air filter behind my back tire and all. oh and there is the whole "its black" thing too. ~Guy

Oh yeah, I think the original ad said 130k miles...its actually 103k miles.

The car does have some issues.

It has a check engine light on. The guy said it needed an O2 sensor
There is some noise from the rear end when turning. I don't know if a fluid change with LSD additive would help or not
Could use new brakes
Rear bumper cover has scrapes and chips from someone hitting it
scratch in side skirt
a few other minor comsetic things
no antena
butt ugly 16" wheels that I don't think have ever been cleaned

It seems to be kinda slow. Granted, I have never owned an auto LS1, and only driven 1 or 2 of them. I think this has the 3.23 gears cause it was cruising about 2000 rpms on the highway (~65mph). Its bone stock too. And now I'm used to the vette which has some mods, weighs about 500lbs less, and is a stick....so maybe its fine.

On the good side.
The seats are in extremely good shape for being at 103k miles....my T/A's seats were in about the same condition when i got it at 15k miles. They're also the ones with adjustable side supports (niether my T/A or Formula had this).

It's got a 12 disc changer, though my wife couldn't get it to work last night.

So the question is....to part or not to part

Congrats! I'm jealous! Wish I could have bought it.. I wouldn't part it, I would fix it up and sell it.
