Hutchens Hybrid, Hutchens X, In my honest opinion it doesn't matter. John's been pimping R3s and Hutchens Hybrids for the last couple years... Didn't read all of it the first time, and didn't see the new "X" model for a cool $1500

Problem with all of this is when the brain impacts the skull due to Decelleration (ie impact), the neck restraint will hold your neck in place, but at this point, as in Eric's case, the brain just can't be held in place inside your skull.....

Default head/neck restraint

Ellis,
I had the hutchens system (not the hybrid) before the Hans. The Hans is so much better and comfortable. Just my opinion.

After my last near miss I am going to invest in a few more safety items like the helmet KT put up there. Oh yeah and a chute to pull the car back straight!
