Default Shiftlight Installed *Pics*

I got around to installing my Harlan shiftlight last night. I sat there for an hour trying to find a place to install it.
I pulled the a pillar trim and was thinking about using that little vent at the bottom but the shiftlight would be angled toward the outside of the car if it were installed there....
Considered using one of the vents above the radio but didn't really like that...
Decided to install it into the insturment cluster.

Didn't get the holes in an exact centered pattern but all in all I think it came out fair. There is not enough room behind the cluster to mount the whole shiftlight so I took it apart, mounted the LED panel as you see and extended the wires to reach the controller which is now behind the TCS panel so all I have to to is pop it out and do any adjustments. Took the tube the light came in and threw it away.

That's really cool, a great idea. I have a shift light on my pillar, but ignore it and look down at my tach, so moving it and doing like you did, might be the answer, a mech tach still, but able to see ths light.

Just wish the lights came out more centered. Hard to do freehand with a big ol' dewalt drill.
