I tried to search but it isn't working right now....
Any tips, tricks, traps or is it just a normal motor mount install.
Hoping this will stop the left y-pipe from hammering on the floor.
Thanks.

Drivers side is a lot easier than the passenger side. For the longest time, in fact until I swapped my motor, I ran with just the driver side and it fixed the isssue. After a while I did the trans mount as well. My trans was moving all over the place when the engine was under load. The rubber gets warn used up and old and tears or stretches and isn't as resilient as it used to be. The trans mount does transfer some energy. Some dont like it. I have sound deadening so it's not an issue for me.
If you do the trans mount follow the instructions and use the pre-load plate. Most dont and have issues with vibrations or something. Only reason for doing the trans is a bad mount.

Well tackled the L/S today....was a PITA but nothing that couldn't be done with a regular set of tools. A grinder comes in really nice for those rivets.
No more banging of exhaust![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Now i'm starting to get some axle hop though

Yep, the more power you quit losing in the drivetrain, the more issues you have with getting it to the ground. That is why I tried to install the entire setup before I started making serious power. Prothane mounts, subframes, adj torque arm & panhard bar, LCAs, springs & adj shocks, stronger rear end, big sway bars....
Wheel hop is a real problem with 6 sp cars. And dangerous for your dif. Stiff shocks &/or an air bag in the RR & a big rear sway bar should help. LCAs & brackets do more for lowered cars, but might help too. My car hits pretty hard & I get no wheel hop.
