I know there are a few Oregon guys on here. I'm getting ready to head for a little town in the Coast range called Vernonia. Cool little town in the middle of nowhere. Heritage Days festival with Car show, softball tournement, logging show, parade, horse show. My wife plays softball, I put my car in the show, just so the Mustangs will have something to look at. Saturday 8-4. Nice drive on 2 lane blacktop.

 

Wholly cow - I didn't think Heritage Day Festival still existed. Went two years in a row both on the back of a Pan Head Harley in the 80's...don't remember much of the entire weekend (both times) but I have silk screen t-shirts.
Don't even know how I got those.

It is a beautiful drive if you head out to Aberdeen then south, worth going just for that curise
