Good news and a question....
Ok first the GREAT NEWS... i will be back monday night to wa. God i'm glad to be out of IRAQ. I have been stuck in kuwait for a week 1/2 now. so i can't wait to be back there!!!!
Ok here is my question.. I am putting a set of heads and a ls2 intake on my car when i get back... what bolts should i go with and gaskets?? where did you get yours from??

congrats man ws6man should be right behind you. as far as bolts are you talking head bolts? if so ARP has new broached headstuds out, and a GM multi-layer steel headgasket. but you might want to check the valve spacing on the ls2 heads thier designed for a larger bore. again congrates.

On your questions, if you can swing the money then go with the ARP studs (yes they have them for LS1's.) If you want to go cheaper I'd just buy a set of GM bolts from a sponser such as SDPC or TSP.
Definately do the MLS gaskets if you have the older style, you'll know why quickly
I'd also recommend some header studs, they are pricey but make the exaust install much easier!

ya i am not far behind ya brad, we finish missions today and we have about 12 days left!!!!!! Cant wait hopefully i wont get stuck in kuwait that long really put a damper on my plans!

WOO HOO, found out we are leaving earlier than expected i might even catch up to ya brad! The wife is already fearing the drinking when i get back muhahahah. Hey nick sorry i havent gotten back to ya about the parts, we have been super busy with memorials and layouts
