Default Need part

Anyone out there have a used 1999 and up C5 crank balancer? I am in the middle of a head and cam package and found that the owners crank balancer sealing surface has a very deep groove cut into it.

Ellis you happen to have one of these laying around?

I have no idea what a used one is worth or for that matter what a new GM replacement is worth. I will have to call a dealer monday to see what I can get it for. I offered a powerbond balancer but the owner didn't want to go that route. What would you take for it, the balancer has to be Corvette specific, I don't think a F body or other vehicles will work on a Corvette.

You have any Throttle Bodies or MAFs that'll work on my LS6 top end? The balancer is off my old LS6.

Isn't the LS6 intake 80 or 85 mm?

I beleive the TBs are the same as any other LS1 with ETC, the MAF on the later Zs are 85mm on one end, not sure about the other.

yea, checked it out, the Z06 Maf's are 85mm and the ls1 is 78mm, and tb are all the same (except fly by wire of course). I have another deal in the works for a TB from memeber Beer, so we'll see which is a better deal. Still don't know what a used balancer is worth? I did see a cable TB in the for sale for $65, so...
