A new chapter in my life!!!

I'm newly married and we have our 13 month old little man so I felt I wanted to get something that I could see us in for years down the line. Financially wise I really wanted to get a "fixer upper" so we could be in it for a few years then turn around and sell, but I didn't want my family living somewhere that we weren't completely happy.
So we went house shopping and looked at well over 30 houses, some pre-owned, and also threw around the idea of having one built. We ended up finding THE HOUSE soon after starting our search. It was nice to find the "the one" so early in our shopping process. That way when we walked into a house, we had something to compare it to.
The winner ended up being a gorgeous 4 bed/2.5 bath home built in 2002. It's inside a gated community up on South hill in Puyallup. My wife fell in love w/ the master bedroom w/ the his&hers walk-in-closets, and I fell in love w/ having a 2 car garage
. It has a good sized back yard w/ a jungle-gym for my little guy and a nice size deck for any family/friend functions we'll have in the future. Great thing about it is that our neighbors are of course close (since it's a semi-new developement), but not TOO close. And behind us is a greenbelt, so only forrest to look at out our bedroom window. We should have news on whether or not they accept our offer by this evening. So please everyone keep your fingers crossed!!!Unfortunately car mods will have to be on the back burner for a little bit because of the difference between rent payments and mortgage payments. But I couldn't think of a better reason to not be modding my car.
Oh yes, and if all goes well, our move in date is 12/20
I know I can't wait till the day comes when they hand me the keys to my veryown house.

And oh ya.....renting a uhaul to move into a new house would be the best x-mas gift ever. And since we are moving so close to x-mas (hopefully), now my wife can't drag me into the boonies to cut down an 11 ft x-mas tree like last year haha.

The fridge in the garage will be stock full!! You can help me throw my headers on while you are over...I'm sure they'll still be laying around haha.

You will love it!
BTW took about three years to start modding the car again
Problem is I then went insane by my wifes account

Needless to say I'm extremely excited. I found our dream home for our first house and I walk in w/ a ton of equity.
