So deleting the AC because there isn't room for it means I don't have a street car anymore? You guys are funny.

Since Robert wants to bracket race, how bout we handicap by weight. I'll put my car on the scale & I'll bet it weighs more than most on this forum. Race weight last year was 4125. It "might" be down to 4000 this year....100lbs a 10th sound good? Robert should only have to spot me about 8/10ths. Any other takers?

AC definetly does not make a Street Car. Considering 30-40 years ago most cars didn't have it anyways.

I think Mark's idea about the weight handicap is a good one.

***** to pull up in the lane, lol, what the, seems you didn't even show up one time in the heavy weight true street-blue machine, at the track last year? But I guess it takes time building a certified 8 sec car, to race against illegal 10 sec street cars.

You know what you guys should think about doing is a grudge race for trap speed. Just by the nature of your cars, trying to run for ET isnt very practicle. If you run for mph you will at least even out the playing field between you two a bit and trap speed does show true power to weight supremacy.

Just a thought.

I think you should hook bumpers and see who drives off, weight, aerodynamics and all that really becomes a non issue. And plus it would just be funny watch two cars hooked together trying to use nitrous.

Well that would currently be 128.9mph, to 136mph. I guess I just need to go take my azz whoopin and get it over with. Then we'll drive over to the road race course, hehehe.

8/10ths, man my car is no longer stock weight, way over that these days, closer to 3500lbs., though spotting ya 5/10ths would be hard to catch. Mark, I think our cars are actually going to be real close in et, you have more weight, but better 60'ers, and we prob will have about the same HP, seems to even out pretty close.

Actualy I think the fact that most of you would die in a street race with corners makes your car's not a street car... although Mark did change over his setup and did quite nicely in the ORR Really I just think a car should be optioned the way it came from the factory to be a legit street car. But I dont race... only street legal drags when I can get to woodburn or pir and my car is the slowest in the crowd. But I like to throw gas on flames so

My car is optioned like it came from the factory - INCLUDING the radio delete. Does that make it any more of as street car?

I do take mine for short trips on the street, thing is it is not very fuel efficient so I don't drive very far.

DON:
Very true with the exception of the inline 6 and ....
Everyone else:
It really doesn't matter becuase everyone wants the rules to be in favor of them having an advantage. I say just do it street rules style. Put the c-note on the hood and the fastest one to the line wins. I find it funny when someones mouth out runs thier car.

I will be at various tracks next year. Woodburn, bremerton, Pacific, Mission, Renegade and Boise to name a few. If your looking for a race I won't be hard to find. win, lose or excuses I am sure it will be fun.
