Default On the road again!!!

Took the SS out for its maiden voyage after the head swap. Oh my god this thing is ******* sick. Still need to do some tuning and figure out the idle. It will be interesting to see what kind of #'s I can pull on the dyno. I am really hoping to see somewhere in the neiborhood of 450RWHP N/A and maybe 550 to 600 on the juice. I can't compete with the big boys, but I sure can try.

Niice Doug! Were you able to floor it anywhere? This weather sucks, I can't remember the last time I was able to put the hammer down!

Yes I did. There is a road by my house. Let loose a bit and it felt real strong. The road was slightly damp but it spun real good from a 30 mph roll.

I agree, And the stock rearend holds up a lot better. I do think I need Ellis to go through mine though. I really think I will go wth a Yank N20 Converter next time. From what I hear they are a bit tighter and a better product alltogether.

Thanks buddy. I have to admit I loose quite a bit with this particular converter. Not to mention I think my tranny is having problems, Either that or my converter. It does sound sick as hell. Just got done taking her for a drive, then washed her and put her away.

That's pretty sweet, Doug. That thing should put up some great numbers and even better times.
