squeeking belts?

anybody else have this problem? i just replaced them like 3 months ago and they are already squeeking again

Did you put any belt dressing on them? I know on my old beater that I had when I was a kid, I would throw sand on the belts and pullies as it was running. Lol. it got rid of the squeeking. But I would not suggest doing that to your car. Lol

My car is squeeking REALLY bad. It's loud at idle and only goes away at high rpm's(which I'm never in). Did the belt treatment so far w/ no luck.

Try turning your AC on... If it goes away, then it is your compressor clutch. Thats what mine turned out to be..

And from past experince with belt treatment stuff. It usually made it worse on my cars.

belt dressing is for v-belts not serp belts. dressing will only make the problem worse. you have two tensioners one for the main belt and one for the ac belt try changing them out along with new belts , i did that and no more belt squeak. also get good quality belts from dealer. cheaper belts seem to be a problem also.
