Well i am about to swap my alternator out should be a blast in the rain!!!!!! I am just gonna remove the front sway unbolt and unplug and swap.... Shouldnt be too bad right? haha i am gonna be out here all night

how do you get the stupid battery cable to disconnect from the back of the alt....i loosen the nut and the bolt moves as well i dont see anything from the front

i just picked up my new alt, how come you have to remove the plastic shroud on the old one but not on the new one?? Is it because the factory torqued it down so much?

almost 5hrs... gotta figure with rain pouring down and doing it with basic tools and a flashlight not too shabby!!!!

no not yet, still need to replace my knock sensors! The alt in the rain was soo much fun i decided to put it off till i want to fork over cash to do it on post. Also waiting on my stupid per diem check to get things rolling with my clutch and what not
