blonde moments pull the center console. what a bitch. cursing and pulling and cursing and pulling. ok, it's out. took almost an hour. dropped 2 screws in between the tunnel and sound insulation in the process - fun for everyone.
Connect up the ipod interface. Reconnect the battery, test everything out, it works. Sweet.
tape the interface to the "black box" (it's actually silver), tuck the wiring behind the climate control.
Start muscling the console back in. More aggravation. Again, takes forever. OK finally done, start bolting everything up.
Hmm.... where's the ipod cable? Oh that't right - tucked behind the climate controls
here we go again...

You having a blonde moment seemed like Rott's old line that hasn't been used in a long time
Check some of the threads in appearance and detail for iPod connections, for some reason they end up there quite often??
