I'm no fool. I think Kurtis' car stands more than a chance, and has Chris' car whipped by more than a second.

I sold the Mustang Rick. My Nova should run 8.80s or 90s with the new engine I just bought, but I think Chris' car still would have me covered off the stop.

That sissy never runs it all out. Too hairy on the big end he says. It's supposed to run high 7's all out.

So what class are you running this season?

Probably just Super Pro. I have a Stop for the car, but I don't like that Sissy throttle stop ****. I ran Gas for 3 races before taking the stop off. 9.90@172. 7.80@179 feels much better.

I hear ya, I hate the throttle stop classes too. I keep telling Chris lets ditch the stupid stop and go to Super-Pro or something like that. But he loves to try and chase the perfect run. Too many variables to chase down.

Mash the pedal, keep it pointed straight and hold on!!

I see Kondolay moved from the gas classes to sportsman. There was always talk of him cheating in the gas pits.

I find it hard to believe he's cheating. Nowhere do I know of a method of cheating on the tree. When you can setup for a .005 light, and be consistent enough that you're only 5 thou too fast or slow (.000 or .010), well, you're going to win races.

The 2 best Fast Doorcar Bracket racers in the NW are Stefen and Randy Johnson IMO. Kondolay does it mostly on the starting line, and Randy drives the stripe better then anyone I've seen. I watched Randy crossover to Super Comp after not qualifying for Top Comp, and went rounds with no test passes, no throttle stop numbers etc. Just on/off the throttle to take the slimmest of a stripe.

Randy would get my vote as the best driver. He is on his game 99% of the time.

I think everybody was just frustrated that he dominated the SG and SC classes. I watched Kondolay run a lot two years ago and he was just plain dialed in, at the starting line and at the big end.
