Tranny needed We're in somewhat desperate need of a tranny for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD. It belongs to a friend who's staying with us for a couple of weeks and her vehicle is now deceased on the street in front of our house. We towed it here off of Hwy 18. It was an adventure.
Anyway, if you have one or know of somebody who does, send me a PM or, better yet, call my cell at 425-770-2269. Hoping for a used or rebuilt one as opposed to brand new.

do you know what transmission it had in it? I'll check with my jeep buddies.
Or, you might check with a guy, John at Auburn Car Repair and Off Road. He might have one around and I'm sure would love to install it if you need him to.

Thanks a ton. Brother-in-law talked to John today and he's coming to haul the Jeep away in the morning. He's got the right tranny for it and may even have it fixed by the weekend. It worked out well, as brother-in-law wasn't looking forward to driving all the way over here and installing the tranny in our cold *** garage.
