CCCA Mtg Reminder Just a note to remind anyone that is interested in attending that the next Car Club meeting is this coming Saturday Dec 15th at Don B's Garage Majal in Monroe at 2 PM. I believe pizza will be provided (along with some Xmas cookies if the wife & I can squeeze out a couple hours to bake some between now & then).
We plan to go over proposed rule changes & race dates, along with some other items. If you have something you want to bring up (good bad or indifferent) now is the good time. If you do not show up & tell the officers your opinions.....well, lets just say it's like voting, you'll have nothing to bitch about.

A quick post about what was discussed - I will post minutes later when I get them all written out. We had about 20 people show up. A lot of things were talked about, and some very good ideas got presented. A few of the highlights
Inclusion - our goal is to include everyone that wants to race (fast/pro cars, bikes, etc)
Points - we will probably be using the NHRA bracket-style point system
Rainouts - again, we will use the NHRA/track system
I will post the details this week, but I have been swamped so they aren't ready yet. And none of this is set in stone yet. We will post the suggestions for discussion & vote on them at the next meeting. Some of these things aren't changing, just getting claryfied. Thanks to everyone that attended!
