Slots and drilled work OK for road racing but slots by themselves don't clean themselves fast enough. Never mind the heat that the slots can't get rid of fast enough. Especially if the slots don't go to the edge of the rotor.

He's saying that it isn't a vented disc at all, it's just a 3/8" thick or so piece of iron, like what they have on the first cars to use disc brakes. For drag racing they only get hot once so it's a non-issue.

Same rotor on my car 2350lb car stop fine from 200+, I'm sure they'll be ok on a 3500lb car from 155.

I wasn't disagreeing or taking away from what he said. Just adding my 1/2 a cent.
