Smile More Progress

Today I got my fuel lines & pump wiring run up to the engine bay. I also got my fire supression system installed.....and broke the friggin windshield in the process.

Tomorrow I hope to get the 9" installed and then I should be about ready for the engine.

Looks great Mark! Man you are going to town on that car. Tubular K member looks good too. I bet you know these cars inside out now.

Thanks Rick. Yeah, I know every bolt on this car intimately. And I love the k-member....only problem is it will never get seen after the engine goes in & the car gets dropped onto the tires. I guess I'll just have to cut the lic plate hole out to show off the front mount inner cooler.

Really like the wires on the fire wall. Very clean. Is that a dual nozzle system in there? lol

Did you break the windshield taking the wipers off?

So what did you end up with on you fuel set up? What K-member are you running and are you running the tube arms as well?

Thanks, I liked the way it turned out....I took my time doing it. As for the under-caoting, I tried taking it off. GRRRRRRR

I broke the windshield getting the pass arm loose. My puller wouldn't fit on it (they were STUCK on) so I was wiggling the crap out of it with one hand & prying "gently" with my clip removal tool with the other hand & the step-stool I was standing on shifted. Evidently my wieght shifted too - the wiper popped off, but the glass broke!

This is the Nasty Stage 3 system, dual 255L Walbros setup by Lonnie, 8 AN feed line, 6 AN return, wire harness, relays & a Hobbs switch to turn the 2nd pump on at 4-5 psi plus all the fittings & clamps you need. Aint cheap, but it's NICE! Pretty much plug-n-play.

And that is the UMI road race k-member & I also have the lower a-arms....another nice product!
