Last night at Pac Rcwy:

60' 1.687
1/8 6.863@103.02
1/4 10.544@134.85

Ran it just the way I drove to it work, with like 1/2 tank of gas. I just let some air out of the tires, from 20psi down to 12psi.

A fast car?

Nice run Chris, way to represent. Nice reaction time buddy, you should join us in the NW F-Body club doing the CCC. You only need to show when you feel like it, and we need good drivers that can place. Also, it only costs $5 and another trophy for the mantel would be nice?

Yeah thanks for noticing! I felt good about that run, lined up against full race Nomad with open headers, tubbed, and loaded with electronics inside. It was a solid pass, and made up for my earlier runs that really showed my driver rust. I'll think about that club, kinda sounds like fun.

I haven't posted any times this year - yet - due to tranny problems. Have already re-built it 3 times. Hopefully, third time is a charm.

Almost same set up as last year, except added an AMS-1000 boost controller - oh yea a new engine. Same 408 set-up. Still running on MT DR 315's

Kind-a don't want to post this, BUT you have to start some where.

Memorial day weekend. Everything looked great. Tranny shifted great. Got 3 nice TNT runs on Saturday. And than the O2 sensor took a ****. Didn't want to hurt the engine, so we pulled a bunch of timing and richened it up. Got in on the bracket racing program on Sunday. Nothing great. Still learning the new convertor. Now Monday was a little different. Again nothing to brag about, OH Well.

Runs all ranged from 9.70-9.58. Cut a crappy light and lost 2 round - sleeping at the light.

Best run on Monday: 1.388 60'; 6.146 at 114.577 1/8; 9.587 at 143.175mph.

Way off my best but its coming around.

We'll see if the car will get into the 8's in the next couple of races. Yes I do bracket race my turbo SS . No heads up racing up in South Dakota.

Thanks everyone. You are right Chris. Nothing held back on the car. No secrets. The SS has been down a little on power since switching to the 9", but I am hoping this coming weekend will be the one I have been waiting for. I can smell 8's

Yea it's a lot of fun and no pressures at all. i only made it to a couple races last year and that was no big deal. Maybe once I get running again we can plan to attend a couple races. i did get a couple .00x reactions last year myself, and you know it can be a challenge cutting a good light in our cars, though i was thinking about going two step to help this out a bit, but like the fact that no driver aids are being used. I would prob run CCC n/a as this would be a little more consistant for me, but staying off the gas until it's dialed in, well...

Glad to see ya back david. that mph says you have a much quicker car than your ET implies, go for it, lol. I know, anytime we make changes it will take a bit to get dialed in again. I will certainly have that problem, but then again that usually is a good problem, meaning mods in progress.

Not sure. It did not feel like it.

Maybe we will see more this weekend. Time to do some wide band logging and check the timing.

Then maybe I can make the list here
