the weird thing is that 1st 3rd and 4th all are fine but in second it will rev to the moon

Band can still be going. some times the 4th gear servo has more travel then the 2nd gear servo even though it is the same band It could also be a worn or cut 2nd servo ring.

i pulled the servo and sent pics via yahoo to performabuilt and they frank said that the servo looks good. I have pics of the servo if anyone wants to see it.
