We are going to go big on the cam and SDPC has more then proven them selves to us
I am not saying the others are not good but I saw no problems with us kicking out over 600HP for over 13 miles in Marks car You ever want to put a Smile on an open road racers face just squeeze the throttle at 100MPH and put the tires up in smoke like we did!
Did I mention we ar going BIG on the cam? Bordering Solid territory

It's looking like a LS7 based 440ci stroker.
Complete LS7 top end with cable tb, huge a$$ cam and ellis's magic to make her run right.
I'm crossing my fingers to put out 575RWHP n/a. Is this possible?
Who want's to start a bet pool on how many full throttle launches STOCK 10 bolt will last behind this setup?
I'm thinking 5 launches max.
I tell ya it'll be kinda wierd having a 10 bolt abortion and my having a huge smile on my face as it happens!
Anyways i'm excited as hell to get this thing here and installed. I figure while it's out a LS7 clutch will go in as well as poly motormounts.

Nice! I think you'll like that better.
SDPC do I get commision for the up-sell?
You guys go and blow a gasket because I suggested that he would like a different setup. I never di'ssed Scoggins. I suggested another opinion. Always good to get more than one point of view. Maybe I helped maybe not. If you dont like my advice then put me on ignore. Thats what I do to the guys I dont like.

I think he wanted advice from people that run a car and not a dyno.
Relax a bit, people appreciate your input, but you can't run down a particular setup when you don't know his goals. That's like if he was asking for a good heads/cam package you came in and said WTF? that builds no torque, you need a 402.

Ok, back to the very first post here. Almost positive that's what i'm going to go with. Just trying to figure out what upgrades to get now, need to get a cam picked out with supporting hardware, etc etc.
Would love to know if that motor includes the fuel rails and injectors as pictured.

You gonna stick with the L92 complete? I still say it's the best bang for the buck for a street car. Call Rick@Synergy for the cam if you go with the L92 heads/L76 intake. He will spec you something. I still think that setup is atleast $3-4K cheaper than the LS7 route.
Or you can do what I did and buy the L92 shortblock and get some cathedral port heads (TFS235's). The exact same engine with fairly mild cam in the dyno section put up 540-550 rwhp with gobs of torque.

Which experts are you quoting? LOL.
And a 113lsa on a turbo car works just fine .

If you have a well matched turbo for the engine and application, it is a different deal altogether. A well matched turbine housing on the turbo will usually work well with cams with a lobe separation in the 112-114° area.
