Always been my personal favorite camaro bodystyle. 70-73's are the best IMO.

Got a new front/rear seal for the trans and a shift kit so the tranny will be done tomorrow morning. Going to use an old 3500 stall my dad has laying around.

I spent a good amount of time scraping off the 1/4" of sludge in the engine bay and then sprayed with degreaser followed by a pressure washer to get to this point...

Satin paint and it now looks pretty clean!

One header painted and black powder coated intake.

Looking good man... Are those the stock 1.94 heads??

I just sold a set of double hump 2.02 heads for 200.00 to a friend... lol. If I would have known you were going to be doing this, I would have sold them to you instead. Cause my budy probibly will never do anything with them.. Oh well.. lol.

I was going to use the motor out of the car since it ran great and made no noise but I started to run the #'s and the block was originally from a 72 LA built Camaro and this car was built in Norwood, OH and the heads were 1.72's so I looked at my 4 bolt block that I traded a pair of mounted ET streets for. He also threw in a set of 1.94's and a new hv oil pump. Well the 4 bolt had 1.94's so I said good enough... For $200 though I would have ran some 2.02's. Anybody else have some laying around collecting dust?

Well I got the motor set in the car yesterday but am not too excited to work today as the car is outside and it aint so pretty out. Also oredered carpet, sill plates, front/rear seat upholstery, door panels, dash (w/ A/C), 1 piece molded headliner (was an option in '73), sunvisors, and dome light. So basically it will be brand new inside! Also got all new door seals and trunk seal.
