Default Bought a '73 Camaro....

Well it was a good deal so my dad and I had to buy it. Goal is to fix up and sell but it is tempting to keep. Car is pretty straig and is practically rust free! No leaks around the window or anywhere inside. Borrowed my Demon carb off the boat and a few hours of tinkering she fired up. Runs nice and smooth and sounds like a little cam to go with the headers. No problems on the drive home from Fife to Kent so its a great start. Power front discs felt great, steering was great, shifted smooth...

Picked it up for $1300 and will just clean up the body a bit then off to paint. I'll probably pick up a cam/lifter kit from Delta Cams since they're so damn cheap there and slap an aluminum intake I have on it.

Now I know so I will try to do that tomorrow!!

Does a 73 have the large open grill still? Pictures would be helpful

the 2nd gens are growing on me as a much cheaper alternative to the 1st gens....though I think people are catching on, and the 2nd gen's values are going up too.

Spent the past 2 hrs pulling the radiator, distributor, carb, all accessories, plugs, and headers. Down to motor mounts, shifter linkage, drive shaft, and trans mount.

Here you guys are...

Motor/trans came out today. Tomorrow if all goes well the motor will come out of my dads '73 RS, clean up my motor, paint it, install the cam, clean the engine bay, and set it back in.
