Well at 114k you might want to replace the oil pump ( you have a 2000, maybe you dont need to) and lifters as well which would require pulling the heads and a whole lot more time and effort. You dont have to swap the lifters. Might be a good idea, I'd post that question in another thread in the gen3 internal section to get the most repsonses. IT's a 50-50 shot is what I'm guessing you'll get for responses in here. Some will say you dont need to and some will error on the side of caution like me. Same with the oil pump. Its insurance. Insurance costs money. You will need a tune as well and I cant provide that. WE have options how ever. Mail order tune from Vince at Trifecta. I have a spare ECU here so we could send it to him and have it programmed and ready to install when the swap is done. OR you can take it to Wongs and have him tune it. It will be in the 450 range for a proper dyno tune.
Just need to make sure your ecu and this one are compatible. My car is a 99 and it was bought for it. As far as money, I'm not a shop or mechanic. I'm an amateur. I've had great success with the LS1 and my car. I'm limited in my work space as to what I can do efficently at my house. Engine swap is not a good idea here but heads and cams are no issue. Straight up cam swap we can do and have it done in a day no trouble but if you add the oil pump and lifters it could drag on. Cleaning for a head swap is time consuming. The oil pump is time consuming as well. Getting the pickup tube bolt back in can be a bear. We can discuss money when your ready to do it. You should research more to what you want to replace at 114k.

Thanks alot for the info and the offering of Help.. i will for sure let u know when im going to do it..now i just have to go buy a junker car and drive that..and i will go find out if people r changing out there oil pump and will probably do that also...i will get back to you..and thanks again for the offering
