Default Got a ticket a month or so back!!!

I got a ticket a while back doing 17 over, when I was actually doing 31 over... lol.

What happened was, my son which was at my In-laws house. Had a Seizure in Poulsbo, I was on watch and my wife was at home. So I got off watch got packed for a day or so, not knowing what was going to happen, and hauled *** to Bremerton.

Well I got pulled over in Mt. Vernon. Almost got off the ticket, he was about to give me a warning due to the curcomstances. BUT the wife was on the phone with the hospital trying to give information that they needed. The cop was on her side of the vehicle, talking across her, making it hard for her to hear. So she yelled at him to shut the **** up.. Lol. So he was like okay, I will be back in a minute... Great!

He came back with a ticket, he knocked it down, said he was nice for doing it, blah blah. You know how that is.

Well I go to pay it right, Well I called the number they gave me. They don't take payments there, I have to call this 1-800 number, call them up, give them my info. The ticket was 227.00. Plus a 25.00 added fee for them doing the trans.... What the **** is that???

Anyway for them to get more money out of you,,,, Its so sad.

Sorry end of rant.

You should have had an attorney fight the ticket......

I fight all tickets whether I actually committed the infraction or not....

Next time call Jag Matto at 253-332-4879.....Pay $250....and forget about it.

I 2nd that.....

Had a really REALLY heavy foot in 2005. Got 7 yes you heard right SEVEN speeding tickets that year.

Not one stuck. Got every one dropped. My 5 year abstract is squeaky clean.

Yes I was lucky as my procedure worked every time. They were state troopers every time.

City cops and I might have had to call that guy to get him to get it dropped.

Yeah fighting the ticket is always my first effort. I used to hire a lawyer (Usually Jeannie Muckelstone) but the past couple years I've had a pre-paid legal membership and they've taken care of the past 2 tickets I've had and didn't cost me anything more than my monthly membership costs.

Doesn't make for an easy situation when you get pulled over at times like those. In irony for me it's always on the way back that I get pulled over instead of when I'm speeding even worse on the way to something like that.

Ouch 252 for 17 over? *****! lol

You know I was trying to get pulled over once and couldnt get it to happen. Wifes water broke and she was 2 weeks early and started having bad labor pains on the way in the car I was just about in a panic thinking I had to deliver on the side of the road. Speeding as fast as I could hoping to pick up a cop along the way for either an escort or some help delivering. You know how they say never one around when you need one? We made it though.

i got a ticket in Mac for speed racing which i was at he light with like a 72 datsun wagon and i just kind of carried 1st out to like 4500 rpm you all know its a great sound. anyway the cop said he could hear my car with his windows up. i went to court and pled not guilty the judge told me i would need an attorney and i might not win so i took a diversion calss and got it taken off my record. i go to pay and its 400 dollars still plus since i only had 150 on me they had a $50 fee for borrowing money they called it.

Wonder what he would have done hearing my engine at 7000 rpms when I shift no matter who's in the next lane.

Funny....yes, but you really need to count your blessings he didnt yank her out of the car and hook her for obstruction. A quick "hey, I am on the phone with the hospital because the nephew had a seizure and they need some info" and I garantee he would have patiently waited or let you go on the spot if he believed you.

Anyone remember Chris Rocks "how NOT to get your *** kicked by the police"?

I think it was rule #3 or #4 "Tell that bitch to shut the **** up". LOL! funny stuff. But what is even more funny is how right he is in that little skit.

And it was our son, not nephew.

I am glad your wife was ok, but as a rule, cops don't give "escorts" or deliver babies on the side of the road. They will, however, call for an Ambulance right away......too much liability in saying "follow me" while speeding thru town or wherever......and I guarantee you don't want them delivering you baby on the side of the road. An Ambulance is a quick radio call away (in most cases) and cuts down on the lawsuits and definitely is better for the baby and momma.

I was hoping for a life flight..LOL , I'd say that was the only time I was close to real panic. Very scary indeed. Just having a semi trained professional there would have been good enough for me. Lets face it most police know basic first aid and a calmer head would have been a tremendous asset if we needed to deliver. Most of the time we look at cops in a negative manner due to their job. They do get an unfair shake, it is a thankless job no doubt. First person you run to though is a cop when you need help. Its like you know they are there to help but you dont want to talk to them unitl you need it..lol
