Default HOT lane on 167?

I've been wondering what's going on with new hardware over 167. Did you know?

It's going to allow solo drivers to buy into the HOV lane with a "Good to Go" pass. I dunno man, it sounds kinda wack. They can change the toll rate depending on traffic.

Alternatives for solo drivers?

1) Limo tint
2) Get up earlier for work
3) Drive it anyway, who cares
4) Stay in the slow lanes as usual, it will lighten up by all the paying fools.
5) Get a motorcyle!

It seems they already have plenty of single-occupant cars over in that lane with very few that get pulled over... And during most rush hours, the HOV lanes slow down too...

I haven't figured out the logic here yet...

I wish they would just do away with the HOV lanes. yes, i drove from Ballard to south hill and ran 167 and/or I-5, so i always hated the guys zooming by in the HOV lanes. I was always chicken to use them with only one person. Chris you could use it, no cops can catch the TTIX Z06, lol.
