Close race tonight Well I finally met up with a car that gave me a hell of a run tonight.
My car is a home built budget turbo set up that my wife and I built last year. It is a home built 346, 224 cam, tc76 turbo running 11#'s of boost on 13 degrees timing with 91 octane. Super safe tune.
I ran into this guy tonight. I agreed to a 45 mph roll because my car is set up to HOOK & wouldn't be fair. 1st race I put several car lengths on him.
2nd race I gave him a split second to boost then hit it & uh oh I wasn't going by him.
My shift light took a dump on me and I hit my rev limiter each shift (t400) It was neck & neck. Killer race, this is the first time someone has stayed with my like that, very fun.
We came home & I told my wife that this car was something pretty special. It took me 5 minutes to find it, link below. Just wanted to share.
He said he was running 18#'s of boost with 100 octane.
