Default Tunning estimate....

I am going to be doing a larger cam install along with headers on the vette and was wondering if anyone could help me out and pm or post up an estimate for a tune for it? Also if I didn't get it tuned right away would it be dangerous to run for a month or so or would I just be leaving hp on the table? Thanks for your help! ( I live in Lacey/Olympia area)

For a dyno tune i would expect anywhere from 400 to 600(dont quote me on that either) depending on who you take it to, i would suggest getting a tune right after the cam install though. It's not completely necessary, but your car won't appreciate it too much, it will run rich as hell and you won't get the numbers you should out of the new cam.

Yeah I figured that but I have saved up 1500 and I am going to get LGM headers for about 750 shipped and I was wanting to do a cam job then worry about getting it tuned down the road in about 2 months or so

Ellis helped me out with my tune back when i needed one and the car drives amazing for the size cam i have in it. Also when you are doing the install let me know if you need a hand. I am out that way quite often but i am out of the states until late May.
