I have used a few good suppliers. Here is a short list of proven suppliers.

LME
Scoggin Dickey
Exotic Performance

I am SURE there are more but these I can recomend from first hand experiance. You might want to check with TJWong also he is in your area. Blonco has some for sale also

BTW Stay away from "Victory Racing Engines" at all costs, because it will cost and cost and cost..

good luck man!

Tom I really cant say online other than its one of the finest builders in the country. Ya I know thats sounds like a line but this guy really is that well respected. For the potential buyer I talk to them and let them know exactly what they're getting and from who though. I can say that you would appreciate the build very much, it's done meticulously with everything checked. The problem is the soap opera in Texas, and he wants to avoid it. Plus he really doesnt want the added traffic. I am only doing the 408, though, FI or N/A.

I've got those clips for you still, just been busy and havent been able to swing buy. Still need them? I'll come by or if you want call me and I can talk to you about the builder.

Well I can tell you in no uncertian terms VRE was crap in Febuary 2007. Every thing from the build to the packing. was not up to snuff. You guys see that Silver LT1 T/A at the dyno? that is the engine in question. We are down to the last little fixes on it and it now appears the ATI Balancer was over honed and does not have enough interferance fit to stay one no matter what bolt we uses

How would any of you feel if your new 396 showed up looking like this?

Look down in the lifter boes

And that was just the beginning.

I CAN tell you this Engine has the strongest Pan rails I have ever seen! Due to an incorrect "Hard Block" pour This is just a few of the MANY things we found wrong with the engine. What was really cool is this person had ordered C&A Gapless rings. All the pappers came in a gapless ring box yet when we took the engine apart to clean it the engine did NOT have gapless rings in it.

I would be kinda weary of virginia speed.

When I was stationed up there, I thought I would go and have them tune my car for my header/stall install. They wanted 750.00 and an additional 150.00 for the license. Everyone I talked to in Virginia told me to stay away from them, cause there customer service was crap, and the people did not know very much at all about the LSX series motor. There web site had not been updated in over 4 years. And when I called them to see about tunning, they pretty much acted like you were the dumbest **** brick out there.

I have heard they have changed some, but I would still be carefull dealing with them.

Edit: Actually they didnt even have a tunning software for the LSX Model. They wanted me to pay the 750, and then purchase my own software, and then they would tune it. Its been about 2years, so sorry for the confusion.

Don't always go with the cheapest out there, You get what you pay for..
