Anyone from Alabama?
I haven't been on a plane in about 20 years too so I might need to get some pointers on how to fly in the 21st century too. No joke, I thought an e-ticket was a ride at Disneyland. What do I do with that?
Eat at Dreamland BBQ at least once...best sauce I have ever had
And I second Dreamland BBQ - it's almost as good as 17th Street Bar and Grill in Murphysboro, IL

Don't forget the weird rules of........
only three 3oz bottles of liquid are allowed in a plastic bag, incase you happen to know how to use 4 bottles of liquid something to actually make a bomb. I think the bag is for suffocating yourself after going through the TSA check.
No lighters but you can have as many books as matches as you want.
Nail clippers sometimes get taken by TSA - just look at their nails first to see if they will or won't take them from you.
Disposable shavers may or may not be taken as well. Check the chest hair on the TSA gal first before getting in her line.
Bulkhead seats are reserved for really really short people with buliemia. This is so they can shove everyone off the plane in an emergency. I wouldn't count on them being able to if it really comes to that.
Keep staring at some guy who is of middle east decent that is obviously a usa citizen born and raised. It will make some uber conservative who will demand the steward check their tickets and hold up the flight for 6 hours minimum.
Last but not least - wear a bright colored shirt with jeans. Anyone going to alabama will think you are crazy and leave you alone.

Hell, just show up naked and it'll make going through the line easier as you're going to have to remove half your possessions into a bin anyway.
Just prepare yourself for a giant pain in the ***. TSA clearly hires people on the same principles of the DMV.
Just have your shoes, notebook computer, jackets, belts, and ID ready. The TSA loves to f*ck with you if you look any different than your driver's license or passport photo (I get it all the time, I'm 20 and my DL is from when I was 16 and it was the last year licenses were laminated in AK).
