Default ran at the track

bremerton
first time ever at the track
256 rwhp 291 tq
made 15 runs in 4.5 hrs

best time 14.06
best mph 103.67
best rt .058
best 60' 2.047

this was on stock (for vettes) runflats sized 275 40 17

i really really think that my gears are killing me (2.73), last few car lengths of the track the car is busy shifting into third. I also think that they are making me not see the full potential of my 3200 stall.

what do you think that my car will hit with a gear change to 3.73's? 13.5's?

mods are in sig

Fridays are good for getting in lots of practice. Glad you had fun. BTW, I don't see any sig, so I don't know what your car/mods are. Post 'em up and I'll put it on the Run List.

The gears will make a difference, but not that much of a difference. I switched from 2.73 gears to 3.42s.. and I got about 2 tenths from it. I would definitely recommend it... I just bought a complete 3.42 rear end from a guy that upgraded his M6 car to a 12-bolt, it was cheaper than gears.

If you're running a converter with a 3200 stall... you could probably gain some time simply by improving your launch. You'll probably need some sticky tires to really launch the car right.

Reaction time doesn't affect your E/T at all... so don't worry about that unless you're getting into bracket races, or are trying to win heads up races.
