very anxious
very anxious to get my car back. it has been in the car for 2 1/2 weeks already and NOTHING has been done. im getting pretty frustrated. the guy in the shop said if i got a 3000 stall and a shift kit my trans would scatter... i find this hard to believe since alot of people are running 3500+ converters on daily drivers. my car is stock and the only mod i have coming is exhaust... is this guy just bs'ing me or what? thanks
If your transmission is good shape meaning fluid is in good condition(still red with no burnt smell) and the shifts feel good to you then by all means get the shift kit and stall. The shift kit will actually help save your transmission for a little while longer due to less hesitation during shifting.Also get a good transmission cooler if you go with a stall. If everything is good and you do these things then you should be just fine.
thats what i thought... he is under the impression that i am going to blow my trans with a shift kit and stall... i'll just tell him what i want and if he doesn't want to do i for me i'll just take my car back... and yes fluid is all good and shifts feel fine
