OK..pulled the trigger..May need help Ellis

Sooo.....The need to spend all of my money has led to a new 408 on its way from TSP.

If I can figure out how to pull the LS1 out of the GTO, I will be swapping out all of my current mods over to the 408, at least until I can save enough for a few other new items.

My current available mods are:

TR Blower cam 224 228 113
Patriot Stage 2 heads with dual springs and Yellow Terra rockers
Magnacharger
SW long tubes
225 gph fuel pump

My TB and Mas are stock and the injectors are 36#

Do I need to upgrade the TB, MAS or injectors to make it work?

I do plan on new AFR or TFS heads within 6 months or so

for the amount of work that is involved, I would do the heads when you install the new engine. It will save you a lot of work in 6 months and will save you a little for gaskets and a few misc. things.

42's use to come in the kits...I assume they still do! Cory ran out of fuel with those turning 16500 rpms on the blower, he had to install 60's. Pain in the as to get to idle though due to very low pulse width at idle on his 6 liter hummer. On 402 cubes they will work for sure.... you need to look into the smallest pulley used on that blower kit to get the rpms up to 16500-17000 rpms, so you can feed those 400+cubes. My guess is 7-8psi running those blower speeds on that many cubes..
