Almost Ready I made some decent progress this weekend on the car. I just may have it ready for the Colby Show on Memorial Day.....if I don't get hit with a bunch of OT this week. I got the y-pipe on, the gauges all installed & hooked up, got the nose on, the brakes bled & the fenders rolled, did some basic tuning & most notably got the new air inlet hat Ellis & I designed installed.
Nobody makes anything for an F1 on an F-body, so we decided we would. The aim was max airflow, so some cutting is involved. But it won't be the restriction like all the ones other people are using. Some pics of it are below....
With luck I can get the muffler & rear sway bar on tomorrow so I can start ploishing & waxing.

Thanks guys! And nothing ever goes as planned. If it did I would be driving it already.
As for a video, after I get the muffler on I'll make one. I actually had a neighbor walk over & complain @ 1 PM yesterday about the noise. I told her I had put some of the exhaust on it so it was quieter than before (I have a resonator on the y-pipe) but that I had to get it running so there was nothing I could do.

LOL, reminds me of the last place I lived. I was trying to do some idle tuning on the Black car and had a neihbor come over and complain. I got pretty hot and basically told her to STFU. She ran back home with her tail between her legs...

Yeah, it was hard for me not to say something to her. It's 1:00 in the afternoon for Christ's sake, all the kids in the neighborhood are screaming, lawn mowers & power washers are running, " I want you to know how loud your car is Mark. I know you have a race car habit, but I just want you to know how loud your car is." get over it already lady.....

Sounds like we are all having problems with neighbors latley, some ***** came over at 2pm while I was working on the LT1 on the driveway, says her kids are trying to sleep. What bitch? lol

I had a neighbor come over once all pissed off about my car being noisy. He said his wife was trying to sleep. I told him to provide me a schedule of when she slept and I would do what I could. The conditions I set were he had to keep his kids quiet (obnoxious kids), his dog quiet (some kind of loud *** hound and not trained) and when he grilled I didn't want to smell the fumes of all the lighter fluid he used (I swear he used a gallon of the crap). He never said another thing to me about my car.
