Took Blu' for a spin! Yup it is true. She even made it back home 
The trip was not with out its excitement but all is good!
I got done buttoning up the new converter in place so Jimmy and I figured it was time to see what the new stall was
We ease it out of the shop (at 10:30 4in Race muffler) and ease our way up the street. About half a mile away and again at 1 mile we have a hicup and deside to cut it short. We get about 1 1/2 from home and turn around. Center it in the lane and set the trans brake. I release the foot brake and the car does not move...NICE! I ease it up to 3,000 and then floor it to 4,000 and let go of the button.
What followed we a little traction test of which the tires lost. she went straight for about 120ft or so and then started turning left just after the shift to 3rd so we lifted and again eased our way home
Parked in the shop and checked things over. Found a problem with the battery box and fixed it then figured we would go look at the marks up the road.
Over she went REAL straight but the crown of the road started to carry us. Nice FULL black marks the entire way until the lift. Looks like I might need to drop the pressure down from 22Psi(325 ET Drag Radials) to get more contact.
Hitting it out of the hole from 3,000 gave a good hook we were just testing the full stall on the brake.
Looks like a Big Block 8in race converter is just what this power less LT1 needed!
Now roll bar padding and MSD Digital 6 and some shake downs on Wednesday!

Good to hear she is up and running and happy. I sure wish I could hook at 3k with the trans-brake on the street. But Im starting to see boost about then so it just cant do it. Anyway it should be interesting to see how it goes on weds. You will be running some juice I hope.
BTW, lovin the sig, car looks sick with the torque thrusts and the new paint.

No juice until I get it going straight and not to far in the air(as if). Once the suspenion is settled it is on
