I just did the water pump and wanted to replace the cap
The one on there is a 16 lbs vented cap, all the parts stores say it should be 18 lbs non vented.
Asked in another forum, but no reply.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

How exactly can an 18lb cap be non vented? I'm no expert, but I thought that being designated as an 18lb cap means it will hold up to 18psi to raise the boiling point of the coolant, and vent off if the pressure gets any higher. What does 18lb mean if it doesn't vent?
