When I crushed my Eaton HD Posi in my 12-bolt, it was the spider gears that caused the nice "clunk clunk" sound when turning a corner. Of course, a nice "clunk clunk" sound when going straight is the flat spot in the ring & pinion after shearing of several teeth on the gears... don't ask me how I know about that, either.

YEOWCH! That's gonna leave a Mark.....or should I say I did last time I was over (& Doug was gone)

All BS-ing aside, sorry to hear the news Douglas.....I'd offer to help with teh RnR but who knows when I'll be home for more than a day or 2. On the upside, I might get to see a tropical storm next week. It's 90* & 90% stupidity in Tampa now (9:30PM) and a storm is heading into the Gulf this weekend.

Thanks Mark, the wife says you were great!!! Sounds like they are going to keep you on the road for a while. If that is the case, Why don't you let me break in you M-9 for you. Are you going to be home this weekend for the nationals? On a good note the car is back on the road again. I swapped out another 10 bolt today with Jimmy's and Ellis' help. I have to go back and make sure everything is Tightened up but I did drive it home from Ellis' tonight.

Sucks about the rear Doug, but it almost seemed like you knew it'd happen eventually . Speaking of Nationals who all is going? I doubt I can make it both saturday/sunday, but Amanda will be there working in the Oakley trailer both saturday and sunday. Initially she was going to work all 3 days but they didn't need her friday. I might shoot a car show saturday and use that money to pay for Sunday lol, we'll see. Either way if you guys go stop by and say hi to her.

Mark, Chad, Myself, and our better 1/2's are going on Saturday. Looks like I will actually get to see some racing this year. Last year we went on Friday, and it poured down rain all day long.

If I"m not doing the show I'll at least try and make it down for saturday. If only Oakley gave them passes for their significant others too lol.
