Default 1 Mile Shootout!

Hey Ellis,

MKM is having a 1 mile shootout at (N)Ellis AFB in late Sept. And DRs are allowed. Cars like mine will be allowed to go 185mph+ (depending on safety equip). Wanna go play? Think wew can get it ready in time for that? (beef up the 4L60, roll cage etc) Or take yours?

Hmmm..... I am guessing we do not have enough experiance to go faster.

Mine would do it no problem and has a full cage. I still have full brakes and checking in at just under 3,500.

Juice or no juice?

Wonder how much gas I could burn at WOT for a mile...

First I'd need a set of 2.50 gears...

You also have to clear a background investigation to get onto the base for the event. Probably just an NCIC check though just to make sure you arent on any "lists".

The event itself is cheap in comparison to other MKM events and I think you are garanteed at least 3 runs.

Yeah, you might have to stop along the way & fill up Ryan. At least your hood won't disintegrate at 190....

I'll admit I went digging for it, but can't find it on SF or YT. I think it may be in Ryan's collection as I remember seeing that video beyond seeing it live.

That was September 30th, 2006 in fact -- the day I snapped my half shafts and last time it's been on the track really.
