I went last year and I had fun, but I figure if its exactly like last year I might get bored... My friends in Chattanooga keep trying to get me to go back. I just need a good reason to.

Every year is different, with a set of common denominators...Those being primarily alcohol and asshattery.

If you can't have fun at the gathering, then you can't have fun anywhere?

I guess because I used to have one every thursday, friday, and saturday in chattanooga when I lived there lol about 6-10(cars) of us... every freaking weekend+ a coupla stangs and whatever rolls by.

Also I moved away, and most or half of those guys never attempted to keep in touch... kinda made me feel like I found out who my real friends are. But on the good side my friends did invite me to come again. I definitely wouldn't want to be there and not know anybody.

I did have fun though. I just got married last month and if my wife wanted to do something different it would half way be ok with me, but I kinda wanna make it to g13 too.

There is alot more than 6-10 cars. More like 100+ cars. You and your new wife will enjoy it.

I suggest they add something to the gathering every year. My buds and me went to summit last time. It was cool because I'd never seen such an awesome aftermarket place in person. What I'm saying is there should be like a big tour for whoever wants to go. Like gmmg(as usual)*I was a little dissappointed they should've had more cars*, MTI, and Vengeance might be cool places to stop by and check out. A track day should DEFINITELY be in the mix... I mean how you gonna have the worlds most rwhp in one parking lot and now show it off?w.t.f. hahaha I didn't get to see any "action" last time. It was kinda like what I got was a half ***(not that bad, but...) bad *** car meet. Know what I mean? THERE HAS TO BE SOME TRACK ACTION!!! No way around that. I guess I need to go to the LSX shootout instead, I think it'd almost be more my taste. I bet you two went to that didn't you?(hunter and 02ws6)

The only track that is close by is one called Paradise dragway. It is straight up 75n about 20-30 minutes away.. It's a decent track and only 8th mile. If enough people is interested, I can talk with the owner and find out if they can do special pricing for us. The other good thing is the parking area is all asphalt.

get it DONE! lmao I know 60 would most likely show up if not all racing atleast half of that to watch. It would be the perfect time for me to finish off my street nittos. GMMG, Vengeance, and MTI should bring a few vehicles too!(not necessarily F-bodies) If this is included in G13, I pretty much have no choice but to be there

Vengeance and other big time shops around the area def should get in on the mix, in order to turn this into more of a car show than a 3 day meet/hangout. i have a BLAST when i come, but i tihnk things like this are the only things keeping this event from growing to soemthin as big as the huge mustang events like the one at the beach! that, and actually sticking the the real rules in the car show. the cars that won my class, and other classes at that, were TRAILORED cars, which were suppose to have their own class anyways!

yea the car show pissed me off. I payed for it, registration was NOT held at the right time, there was confusion on when they would hold it, they forced me into the wrong class (reunion and it was my first time there)and I was basically in the same class as the majority, I felt cheated...

people with lesser cars got trophies and stuff like that. I have been in a lot of car shows and almost all of them have something that doesn't go right.

Once I was in a show in chattanooga and I was there at 9am with one of the cleanest cars on the lot. At the last 30min of the show these guys pulled up with the old schools, with the $200 paint jobs, 24"s, 12s and 15s in the trunk, and collaroid interiors and took the trophies. None of them really participated in the show(only being there for 30min) none of them were clean. Basically, I feel I deserved something and folks who deserved nothing got everything. If they'd been there since at least half the time and had been clean I would not feel the same way. Sometimes I believe people get trophies because of who they know instead of what they've got. I don't really care for car shows anymore.
