La Quinta is on Kings Hwy (not ocean front)....they have a pool, continental breakfast, and the rooms are as nice as you will find for $159/night.....even though our pice is half of that! La Quinta is somewhat centered in the middle of the Myrtle Beach area, while Springmaid is a little farther South and on the edge of the city limits.

BIG UPDATE!!!!
We ran into a lot of problems trying to have the show at Planet Hollywood. It was not Planet Hollywood's fault, but moreso the difficulty of having an event within the city limits of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. Bike Week has really created alot of restrictions, and now all events must be approved by the city. Insurance, permits, $$$, etc etc etc....basically the city makes it very hard to legally have an event our size with vendors and all that jazz.
So, we have found a location farther south in Murrels Inlet, at the Inlet Square Mall. It is roughly a 10-15 minute ride from the host hotels. Here, we will have the show in the parking lot, free from the scrutiny and watchful eye of MB city officials. Within walking distance of the show is TGI Fridays, Outback Steakhouse, Hooters, Applebees, and of course....the mall. This is actually a better location than Planet Hollywood bc it will provide amny options to get out of the heat and do something else if the car thing gets old.
Here is a link with the address and info for the location

We hope everyone is happy with the change, we thought it would for the better!

#93 .. :-)
Myrtle Beach has become such *****.. I was going to try and drive from my house to the event.. But that will tack on another 20-30 mins to my drive.. I guess I may have to find a place to stay.. (and it will NOT be Myrtle Beach)
Fix the schedule link for Planet Hollywood on the website..
Is a regular seat belt considered a restraint system?

I emailed the flyer to Jon and he will have them up ASAP, we had to wait until the location was finalized and the contract was signed!
Yes, regular seat belt is fine!

You can download the flyer here.

If you guys could spread this around to help with promoting the event and attract more people that would be great!

Well I'm new to the site, as you can see. This is my first post. We as a family are going to be there. Waikiki Village has a rate with a kitchen at only $80. They are 300 ft from the ocean. I hope the oil don't make it up the coast. The show sounds like a good time for all.
