well our 3 hour trip turned into a 6 hour trip, didn't kno our place was at north myrtle.... And now my gears got loud as hell on the way here, idk why my gears are makin so much damn noise?

Im my last camaro, I had 3.73's installed...they were a factory GM gear....they sounded like stock

now, in my SS, I just had the same guy that install my 3.73's in my previous camaro, Install brand new richmond 4.10's about 6 months ago. They whined like a bitch the day I picked it up...its just the nature of some gears.

north myrtle is awesome. Thats where I will be coming from saturday for the car show at Inlet mall.

 

If ya'll are staying in the city of North Myrtle Beach (and not the north side OF myrtle beach...some get it confused).....plan on driving over 45 minutes to get to the show!

Next year I hope everyone takes full advantage of the cheap and convenient roooms that our host hotels provide! Can't wait to see everyone and their cars....will be there Friday around noon!

watch out for the rain,the bottom fell out this mornin in north myrtle the roads are soaked! Idk if my car will make it to the festivites we might can't a ride with some other people. My cars makin to much racket for me to be drivin it everywhere just hopin it gets us home :/

 

I arrived in town at the La Quinta about 2pm, in some spots of the road it had to be at least 8 inches of water. Most roads around the La Quinta are mainly dry, see ya'll real soon!!!

 

me and my crew made it here around 12 today. roads were soaked but its drying off now. If anyone else made it down today hopefully we will see you around tonight. Were staying at the la quinta that is the host hotel if anyone wants to chill. shoot me a pm or post.

 

Somebody better save me a spot under the covered parking at La Quinta. The hotel ladies promised me and Terry we would have shelter!!!! kyles2000z tow service will enforce anyone violating this!

Terry says the parking lot at La Quinta is slowly accumulating F-Bodies.....also the rain is just your typical beach climate rain. Thunderstorm for 20-30 minutes and then thats all for the day!

Can't wait to get down there. We are leaving from Spartanburg early a.m. and should arrive around noon. See you guys/gals soon!

 

stuck in N. Myrtle :/ if anyone has a ratchet and extension where I can check my diff fluid and is around n. Myrtle send me a pm I'll get it as a email on my phone and I can check it faster, it'd be greatly appreciated! Might even supply a beer or 2

 

really wanna make it to atleast one event but don't wanna push my car to much it's gotta get me home...

 

If you have to drive it all the way home, wherever that is, what will it hurt to drive it a little ways to the car show? Would you rather it break when you are surrounded by gearheads who know these cars with their eyes closed? Or have it break on the way home in the middle of nowhere?

kyle... I'm not "stuck" in n. Myrtle jus don't like hearin the noises my car is makin but I said screw it. Me nor the gf can sit at the room all the time, haha. We are prob wonderin off to myrtle tonight....eatin now. Gf wants to go see her friend then we will prob ride out to la quinta jus for the hell of it, I'm gonna check my diff fluid just in case...

 

Ben....you are in your DD truck, save the nice spots for the cars that need to stay clean!!!!!

 

We are staying at the springmaid beach resort. The parking is crappy. There is not really anywhere to park a truck and trailer. Jonathan had to make a place for him to park the shop truck and trailer. Have only seen three other f-bodies here so far at this hotel.

 

I'm at the La Quinta that's on down from the one on 48. Looks like i buggered up and booked the wrong one.LOL. Shoot me a message if anyone wants to chill.
