I heard back from MB Speedway but they are trying to work us into their schedule. I hope to have this confirmed next week. f for some reason we can't get the speedway I'll try to get an autocross together some where else.

 

Do we have a F-Body Beach Bash staff to pull off this event? Just curious. I be lurking the Mustang Week web site and from the looks of thing on their web site,they have a staff that can cover a big ground for everything and promote their event like no other.

 

I think it's safe to say that it's doubtful this event will ever be like Mustang week. There is simply not enough interest or dedication on the GM side. Sad but true. That said, this event is always a blast for those that attend, and I'm sure this year will be no exception.

btw, if anyone needs a tip on a hotel you can pm me, I just booked a room at the place I stayed last year (which was pretty nice) and I got an oceanfront room for $59 a night.

 

Too bad it falls on the opening weekend of deer season for me lol otherwise id go.

 

Just added the location for the show. We will be showing with the Palmetto Pontiac Club. Their host hotel is the Prince Resort in Cherry Grove (North MB)

 

im from up east tennessee and spreading the word around hopefully to get a good group to come with me. cant wait to see the website for it up and all the info so i can pass the word on.

I just booked my reservation at the Prince Resort...$72 per night.

We are piggy backing the hotel reservation with the Palmetto Ponitac Club.

Whats the price with the group rate at the Prince Resort? Does this hotel have a big parking lot for trailers? So we're in North Myrtle this year?

 

The Hooters location is pretty much on the border between Myrtle and North Myrtle, so it should be easy to get to from wherever.

 

I got the Facebook invite from Jeremy today. I'm working on getting my time off from work now and inviting people from up my way. I was looking at rooms at Hotel Blue, looks like $55-$69 a night. Is the show going to be judged this year?

 

I'd like to come back up this year (been there there 11' & 12'), but I cannot find a single station up there that sells E85. We were up there for a week in July and I didn't bring the car for that reason.

I got an "inlet view" for $72 / night. You can park the trailer at the mall next to the Hooters.

Due to a conflict with NASCAR testing we couldn't book MB Speedway.
We'll still have the car show, cruise in and Ocean Drive cruise.
