this would be a lot better just down the road at atco where you won't have to deal with the crap from e-town.

The word from the track is no gutted race mufflers or resonators (on supercharged, nitrous, n/a cars), there has to be some baffling as a general guideline. Otherwise you will have a hard time staying under 95 db. To stay in good standing with the track we will be enforcing this, which means we will have the sound meter with us at the shootout.

When will the date be set in stone?... the World Street Car Shoot-out in Orlando is at the end of Oct and I will be down for that event...

I normally run with an open electric cutout... I'll see how she runs through the muffler... maybe I could rig something up so that the cutout opens at the 330FT mark
PS... that was a joke... kinda...

I would advise that to anyone interested in attending. If you have an event that you plan to attend around that time let me know the date in body of your submission, and I will do my best to make sure everyone can make it.

Every shoot out I see in GMHT is either in New Jersy or Houston, why don't you give the midwest guys a shot? We have the fastest cars anyway. Between Detroit and Chitown we have the best. If it was in our back yard I would go, you might even get the 1st and only all motor LS1 in the 8's to go. To have an achievement like that and not be covered in the only mag that caters to our comunity is an embaresment.
